The Long Beach Women's Sailing Association (LBWSA) is not just about meetings and social gatherings. We are a community that loves to share skills and create lasting friendships. Recently, we partnered with Shoreline Yacht Club, who generously shared their fleet of Cal 20 boats, allowing our experienced members to take novice sailors out on the water. We learned how to rig the boat, hoist the sail, and steer with the rudder. The sunny day, light breeze, and sighting of dolphins made the experience unforgettable.
