2026 Member rate is $90

Associate and Student Memberships are $30.

Student memberships are for current students, and associate memberships are for persons living at the same physical address as a member with general membership.

Are you a boat owner? Boat owners who agree to participate in club events and take club guests receive a free LBWSA Burgee the first time they take club guests and a $50 credit on next years dues once they complete 3 events.

Do I need to be a boat owner to join?

No! LBWSA is for women who want to learn and be part of the boating community! Everyone is welcome at all skill levels!

Do I have to know how to sail to join?

No. One of the benefits of joining this club is that you meet women at all levels of skills. We value and encourage our boat owner members to share their knowledge on our day sail events.

What does membership pay for?

Your membership fees go towards operational costs of the organization, and materials needed for general meetings and on the water events.

The board members are unpaid volunteers, no money is allocated toward administration of the club personnel.

What benefits are included?

Access to On the water events, educational opportunities and speakers at member meetings, pop-up meet-ups at various yacht clubs. We also offer reduced prices for educational opportunities for our members.

Can I bring guests to the meeting?

Yes! Guests are encouraged to and invited to attend up to two general meetings to evaluate if the LBWSA is right for them to join.

Membership events though are for members only and are a benefit of membership.

Refund Policy - You are welcome to attend two general meetings as a non-member. On the water events are MEMBER ONLY. Yearly Membership dues are non-refundable. Membership is active immediately upon payment.
