Online Hybrid Captain's License

Long Beach Women's Sailing Foundation is offering WSA members seeking to obtain an original U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner credential a 100-ton Master/OUVP course through Practical Navigator. Total cost for the course through LBWSF is $299.  Payment includes online course, one year of complimentary LBWSA membership and access to LBWSA hosted study sessions.  Payment is in two parts.  Part one is to Long Beach Women's Sailing Foundation and provides access to your code registration code.  Part two is through the LBWSF course portal. Courses are conducted self-paced.  LBWSA mentors and Practical Navigator instructors are available for questions and assistance along the way.  Exams are administered locally by a certified LBWSA proctor or over Zoom by a Practical Navigator proctor. 

Practical Navigator also includes an AI Practical Navigator Study Buddy and USCG licensing tool.
Students also receive 2 years of free MMSEAS PRO access - this makes facilitating the license paperwork a breeze.
