About the event
Join us for an enlightening presentation by Algalita! Founded in 1994 by Captain Charles Moore, Algalita is a pioneering Long Beach-based environmental nonprofit dedicated to ending plastic pollution through scientific research, hands-on community education, and youth empowerment. Famous for discovering the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, Algalita works to shift throwaway culture on land to protect our oceans.
Presentation will start at 7pm; social hour at 6:30.
Paid parking available at the yacht club.
